Whipped for Whip It!
I lurve Whip It! Like luuuuuuurve!
It's the kind of movie I could see again and again and again! From the second that Ellen Page's indie-misfit character Bliss Cavender sets foot in her Barbie rollerskates, the film was an insta-fave. Romantic, heartfelt, sweet and hysterical, Ellen's joined by Alia Shawkat and Drew Barrymore as well as hot newbie Landon Pigg as she finds an escape from her strangling little Texas town through Roller Derby. Not only was the story inspiring as we see Bliss come out of her shell and become confident, sassy, and classy, but man, oh man, it reeeeaaaally made me wanna roller skate again!
