So you've obvs heard of shampoo and conditioners for different hair types, right? There's frizz controlling prods for curly-haired girls, and volumizing prods for straight-haired girls (like me)! But have you ever heard of hair products specifically designed for your hair cut?
When HerCut sent us a sample of their shampoo, conditioner, and Long Layers Catalyst cream, specifically designed for long layers like mine, I couldn?t wait to try it out. My hair is easy to manage but typically pretty flat, so I get so excited when I find a product that'll make my lackluster locks even slightly different or more voluminous. So after shampooing and conditioning my hair as normal, I slathered on a dollop of the Catalyst cream (which is both a white cream and clear gel, by the way--it does double duty!) before blow drying with a round brush. The result? My hair no doubt looked amazing and full of body, but I don't think I had shaped and defined layers like the product claimed to do. I was anticipating Farrah Fawcett-esque definition, but instead I noticed that just the few short layers around my face were more noticeable. A huge plus, though? It smelled amazing and the scent lasted all day! That alone is enough of a reason to use it again!
Would you try a product that's made specifically for your cut? Let me know!
