Hilary and Fergie Hit NYC

Tons of A-listers showed up at the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Gala in NYC last night, including Hilary Duff and Fergie! The starlets posed prettily before checking out the new "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy" exhibition. In addition to them and other Hollywood stars like TomKat, Kate Bosworth, and Christina Ricci, designers like Karl Lagerfeld and Marc Jacobs were also in attendance. In fact, to celebrate the superhero-themed opening, Marc told WWD that he was wearing Superman underwear! However, I don't think his admission was anywhere near as shocking as Fergie's dark smokey eyes and sleek LBD (i.e. long black dress): it was surprisingly classic and understated for the usually flamboyant fashionista. And you know what? I like it! How about you?
