Me and Nigel Barker!

Yesss, that's me that Nigel Barker has his arm around. Didn't you know he's my new boyfriend? Haha, JUST kidding. He's actually married. And even though I look poised in the pic, I was secretly stressing! Why? Because I'd just come from outside (it was 90 degrees!) and felt super gross and sweaty. Not exactly the state I'd imagined myself in for a photo op with the America's Next Top Model judge, but what can you do? On the bright side, the event that Nigel was hosting was really fun! (It was a Crest Whitestrips photo exhibition in NYC). Even better? Later on at the party, I got a chance to talk with Nigel one-on-one. Check our convo:

You've seen tons of girls on America's Next Top Model through the years. Who wins Best Smile?
Nigel: Believe it or not, I?ve done 11 cycles of America?s Next Top Model ? we?re actually in the middle of filming the eleventh cycle ? so I?ve seen many, many beautiful smiles. One of my favorite smiles was CariDee?s. She has a million dollar smile, and I always told her that. And no matter what she said to me ? and you know she said some pretty naughty things to me ? she would smile and I just melted. So she?s my number one smile.

Alloy Girl: What do you think of Whitney winning the last cycle?
Nigel: I think Whitney?s a fantastic winner and it was certainly time for us to have a full-figured girl win on America's Next Top Model. And you know what, she?s a great girl. She tried very hard, she went for it, and she didn?t give up. And that?s what we?re about on Top Model ? you know, girls who are willing to change and that don?t give up. Because life?s too difficult and if you think that [everything is] just going to be handed to you on a platter, you?ve got the wrong idea. You?ve still got to fight for it, and she?s a fighter.

Alloy Girl: So can you tell us the location for the next cycle of ANTM?
Nigel: It?s always a top secret location. We?re not very good at top secret locations anymore because the word is out. They have to fly us in special unmarked planes ? no, that?s not true at all [laughs]. We all fly in coach. Look out for us? but no, I?m not going to tell you where we?re going to go ? I just met you? and then I?d have to kill you.
