Fab Fashion Show: Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti!

Ponder this, fashionistas: If you wear two see-through's, does it equal a solid? Leave it to Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti to answer such a weighty question, as the light-as-air line presented its case on sheerness last night. Celebs Shenae Grimes, Devon Aoki, Olivia Palermo and Peaches Geldoff all watched the show's sheer genius from the standing-room only sidelines.

Isn't the detail ah-mazing? Though the price tags of Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti frocks are a lil' bit out of the average teenagers price range, Alberta is totes designing with us youngin's in mind.

The bold color combos, innovative silhouettes, and sheer fabrics are entirely inspirational. It was amazing to see things that I had never seen before and got me excited for some DIY's in my own wardrobe. I hadn't thought about taking some long tunic-y type tees and cutting the front short like the look in the pic on top. I'll def be sporting a look like that when the weather warms up!

Starting with the sheer silk organza trousers that were placed on every model down to the precise pleating of every skirt, dress and top, the collection was too fun and too exciting for any old lady to wear it!

Though the collection was mostly black, sequin and charcoal, pops of purple, mahogany and orange were welcomed.

Alberta walked around the show, greeting editors, socialites, and actresses with equal enthusiasm. She even took a pic with me! She was so kind and I loved her fantastic Italian accent. Ciao, bella!

P.S. It is worth noting that I stood next to Carine Roitfeld of French Vogue for much of the show. In her words, "Ce Parfait!"
