Backstage @ Marchesa!

It's one of Miley's, Taylor's and Vanessa's most favorite designers for gowns so we were sooooo disappointed that we couldn't see Marchesa's fashion show! But alas, we still got the backstage scoop from John Frieda on the perf prom-potential hair do! We just loved the look of the long 30's-esque wave shown on the runway so we got the D.L. from key stylist, Harry Josh.

To get the look, Josh spritzed Root Awakening Detangling Spray to damp hair and blew it dry with a natural bristled brush. He then created a severe part and curled sections of the hair, actually wrapping hair around the iron to create the appearance of natural waves. A bit of hair spray will keep the hair in tact but as soon as your done curling your head in even pieces, you'll lightly brush it out or that soft look. Slick down the sides and secure with a bobby pin at a 45 degree angle from the outer corner of the eye. Ce chic!
