Interview with Lily Allen!!!

Singer Lily Allen is no stranger to controversy, whether she's smack talkin' on her blog or punchin' out paparazzi. And when it comes to her fashion picks, well, those are up for anyone's interpretation. From attempting pink hair to donning pink Chanel heels, I totes admire Lil's for her desire to take style risks. She's a total trend setter with a knack for vintage. She's just as happy and glam in Chanel (she has a very happy relationship with the couturier) as she is in her fave thrift store find!

We jumped at the chance to ask Lily about her pop-star style. Now that she's out touring to support her latest album, It's Not Me, It's You, we had to get inside her head an fig out her fashion notions. Like, does she have any regrets? Does hanging out in the limelight change the way she dresses? Here's her AlloyGirl interview!

Are there any fashion risks that you've regretted?
No, not really. I don't really regret anything. Even when you wear something completely awful, you just learn not to wear it again, you're just always learning from it.

Do you ever feel pressure to look a certain way, fashion-wise?
Not fashion-wise. I mean, I suppose I feel pressure to be thinner or I don't know, more attractive because people always have so much to say about your physical condition all the time, so I feel that pressure, but I try not to let it get to me.

Were you into fashion when you were a teenager?
Yeah, I used to love dressing up, and I had this older friend of mine called Jessica who had the most amazing sort of natural style, and I used to copy her and buy a lot of her clothing. She was sort of my fashion icon growing up.

What advice do you have for teens who are experimenting with their own style?
Just feel comfortable, and if you feel comfortable, it will come across. And confidence, it looks the best on anyone.

Comfort and confidence? Lily's got both of those down! But I'm sure it's not too hard to have that knowing that your a muse of Karl Lagerfeld! We'll just have to comfortably find ourselves front row at a Chanel Fashion Show too!
