Totally Connected to French Connection!

When it comes to the "It" Brits, I'm not gonna lie, Topshop has been at the top of my mind! But sometimes, you've just gotta go back to the basics ?- the brands that started the britolution in the first place! In my quest to find totally fun, unique clothes at an amazing price this season (no more splurging for this recessionista), I've re-discovered French Connection!

This season's summer collection doesn't disappoint. Kristen Stewart, Taylor Swift and Katrina Bowden have all connected with the FC dresses on the RC and I've found some items that are perf for the casual Alloy offices and post-work funness. With forward pieces that still let me wear them how I want, there is so much I'm coveting!

I've always loved wearing suspenders (and all boys clothing, really!), and these shorts with attached braces couldn't be cuter! It's like wearing hipper, sveltier overalls!

A classic sailor stripe top is necessary for every summer wardrobe, but this cropped one is especially versatile and will look so great with any kind of bottom ?- skinnies, leggings, flouncy skirts, high-waisted denim, cut-offs...anything!

The reason I've been craving summer? So I can wear dresses like this yellow one! Girly, short, flouncy and fun! I just want to stick a daisy in my ear and go for a walk in Central Park!
