Guided by Grey Gardens

When I see a dress and its accompanying star looking so steller, it makes me (almost) want to be on the RC myself! 'Cause if I did rock the red carpet like Drew Barrymore did two days ago to promote her HBO film, Grey Gardens, you can bet I'd go for a look just like this! Her Alberta Ferretti gown is so stunning, that I'm totally speechless in my attempt to describe it. So just stare with me for a sec and we can appreciate its beauty as if we were hangin' at a museum. Gorgeous!

Wanna get her look? I researched a couple of sites to get you on your way:

Hair accessories: I found this incredible beaded flower appliqué for $8 at mjtrim.com! It's so simple to glue it to a barrette or comb. Just make sure that you don't glue the barrette shut! You can grab some gorgeous off-white or peach netting at a fabric store but if you want a birdcage veillike Drew's, check out birdcageveils.com.

Nails: Just like Drew, A-list access is granted with Essie's perfect shade of red nail polish (and it's a formaldehyde-free formula)!

Dress: Sue Wong's 20's inspired beaded dress has a similar shape but is shorter and flirtier (oh yea, and in our price range!). I also love BCBG's long chiffon gown. The soft edge and pearly beads on the halter neck are a lovely touch.

Clutch: Drew opted for Roger Vivier's gorgeous beaded clutch but any fab vintage find will do, too! I found a pretty peach pouch on etsy.com for only $20! Ebay is a wonderful place to start if you don't have any good vintage stores in your 'hood.

Stole: It's just a hunch that Christian Dior's fur stole wrap is just slightly beyond what any of us can afford. Dior and Barrymore are longtime buds, so I'm sure she totes got hooked up! This faux fur stole is just over a Benjamin, and looks so pretty with peach!
